On 2 August 2021, we opened our doors here in George because we love what we do and have a passion to serve and treat your pets and where you, the owner, are important too.

"I love what I do - I love the people and the animals and can spend the whole day locked in a room with puppies or an interesting medical or surgical case .. Luckily I don't live on a farm - I would take all the animals home!! I share my life with a wonderful supportive husband since 2001 and have 2 children, Daniel and Abigail who enjoy the outdoors and hiking in the mountains with us."

Dr Susi graduated at Onderstepoort in 2000 and spent until 2007, in the UK working in a large practice in Cannock. They then built and started their own practice in Dana Bay in 2010 which they eventually sold when they moved to George in 2020. Eden Small Animal hospital is now her new home in George, and she is hoping to complete her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice through the Royal College in London, in the next 2 years.

After graduating from Onderstepoort in 2017 & completing my Community service in Umzimkulu, KZN the following year, I moved to the UK.

I worked in small animal practice for 2.5 years in the Enfield region in north London. I am currently enjoying both the medical & surgical aspects to veterinary & think that small animal vets have just the best patients you could ask for!

In mid-2021 my partner, Shane, & I moved to the Garden Route after deciding it was the place we wanted to settle & raise our son, Finley. Our well-travelled cat, Solo, completes our little family.

Hi there! My name is Laura Snyman and I hail from KZN!

I studied at Onderstepoort and got my BVSc in 2003 and my Honours in Small Animal Medicine in 2008.

I married a brilliant farrier in 2007 and Hannes has supported me in my animal adventures ever since. We are blessed with two wonderful boys, Angus and Connor. I have spent most of my working career in Plettenberg Bay and the United Kingdom, just recently returning from a large practice in Oxfordshire.

I have been lucky to work with some wonderful vets in my career and I particularly love medicine, ultrasound and surgery too! I have further studies in creative writing ; Animal welfare and most recently, my MBA from Quantic.

I came back to George because I wanted to raise my family in the Garden route - the place in the world I love best. But also because, South Africa is home and Animal welfare is my passion. I want to help as many animals as possible and with Susi and Jade, I look forward to being of service to you at Eden Vet Hospital.
